The blend focuses on Dominican piloto corona tobacco, which comes from the top leaves of select piloto cubano plants, similar to the prized medio tiempo tobacco. It features the same blend as the standard VegaFina 1998, introduced in 2020, with an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper, Indonesian binder, and fillers from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua.

Produced at Tabacalera de García in La Romana, Dominican Republic, this release is limited to 5,000 numbered boxes, each containing 25 cigars. The boxes are designed to function as humidors, complete with a hygrometer and humidifier, making them both a collector’s item and a practical storage solution.
