For this special release, all cigars are dressed with a foot band that identifies them as a Hunters & Frankau Aged & Rare House Reserve. The boxes also feature a distinctive commemorative band and include:

  • An EMS stamp showing the year of release from the House Reserve.
  • A Release Certificate, signed by the Warehouse Manager, confirming the cigar’s date of manufacture in Cuba, date of release from the House Reserve, and rarity categories.

To celebrate Montecristo’s 90th Anniversary in 2025, Hunters & Frankau Ltd. is launching an exclusive House Reserve Special Release of aged Montecristo cigars.

This unique offering includes:

  • 135 numbered boxes of ten aged cigars, featuring four of the five original sizes that launched the brand in 1935 (Montecristo No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5).
  • 100 numbered boxes of the highly acclaimed 2012 Habanos Limited Edition Montecristo 520.

 

🕰️ The Aged & Rare House Reserve Collection

 

These special cigars come from the Hunters & Frankau House Reserve, an exceptional collection of particularly noteworthy Havana cigars that have been maturing in their dedicated warehouse under ideal conditions of temperature and humidity since the end of the last century.

The Aged & Rare designation means the cigars have been matured for a minimum of ten years in the warehouse. Every box is marked with a $10+$, $15+$, or $20+$ to indicate its age since manufacture.
