Hoyo De Monterrey
Don Francisco Fonseca founded his brand in the 1890s.
A handsome man, who cared deeply for appearances, he passed his sartorial precision on to his cigars, which he dressed in silky tissue paper – a tradition that continues to this day on all the Havanas that bear his name.
Fonseca’s delicate blend of filler and binder tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo zone makes it the ideal cigar to follow a light meal.
All UK sizes of Fonseca are tripa larga, ‘totalmente a mano’ – long filler, totally handmade.

Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.3 Cigar – Single & Box of 25
Phone for price & availability020 7626 6078Rooted in the philosophy of Epicurus, who celebrated life’s greatest pleasures, an “Epicurean” is someone who takes time to savor life’s finest offerings. The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 3 embodies this mindset—crafted purely for the sheer pleasure of the moment.
As the first figurado cigar added to the iconic Hoyo de Monterrey portfolio since 2008, the No. 3 joins celebrated classics like the Epicure No. 1, No. 2, and Epicure Especial. Its unique tapered torpedo head concentrates the smoke, delivering rich, voluminous flavors straight to the palate, while its generous ring gauge allows the full complexity of the blend to shine.
Expect the signature Hoyo de Monterrey profile: a delicate cedar flavor profile that is light and accessible for novice cigar smokers, yet layered with enough nuance and subtle strength to captivate seasoned cigar aficionados. Like the entire Epicure lineup, each Cuban cigar is meticulously hand-rolled (Totalmente a Mano) using premium long-fillers harvested from Vuelta Abajo in Pinar del Río, Cuba—universally recognized as the finest tobacco-growing region in the world.
