Diplomaticos is a comparatively recent brand dating from the 1960s. Its original line up bore a marked resemblance to Montecristo, using numbers not names to describe its sizes.
The remaining No.2 size is a medium to full flavoured blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone and is ‘tripa larga totalmente a mano’ – long filler, totally handmade.
